Timber Constructions Show, Salon dřevostaveb, was introduced this autumn at the Architecture Week, an international festival of modern and contemporary architecture. Within the Architecture Week, Wooden Open Days; the first open days in timber house, took place during the first October weekend. Around two hundred people had opportunity to visit a brand new timber house situated in Davle near Prague and to get a guided tour through the house with its author Pavel Horák of Prodesi Studio. This first year should encourage a so far missing tradition of Wooden Open Days events in the Czech Republic and inspire other architects to take part in the following years.
